Reply To: What is the distinction between marketplace specific sku and global sku?

Sellers use SKUs, which stand for “stock keeping units,” to distinguish between products and maintain track of inventory levels. These SKU’s are only for the amazon seller and used just in a single listing. Whereas the global sku’s are a shared inventory pool between the US, Canada, and/or Mexico is used by a global SKU. When creating an offer in Seller Central, choose “Existing Offer” to establish a Global SKU.
