When inventory becomes immobile in an Amazon warehouse, neither moving forward (to consumers) nor moving backward, Amazon refers to it as “stranded” inventory.
I am afraid that you will loose the stock if you created the new SKU. -
No, you can’t do that because if you create a new SKU you will lose your inventory.

No, you cannot create a new SKU. If you add a new SKU, your inventory will be lost.

Creating a new SKU for the stranded inventory would never help because if you create a new one for the existing inventory your inventory will b lost and you will be in trouble.

I agreed with Barden John and other, Mr. Jacob I think you cannot create a new SKU for the stranded inventory because if you create the new sku then you will lose your inventory.

It would never help to create a new SKU for the stranded inventory, since if you create one for the existing inventory, your inventory will be lost.

If you change the SKU for the inventory you may end up losing your inventory (not implying that Amazon will liquidate it or something) make sure to relist it with the same SKU so it can become active as quickly as possible.
