If a seller registers a trademark on main keyword, then can he sue all his competitors who are using that keyword in the listing?

If a seller registered a trademark on the main keyword then he can sue his competitors but most probably a seller creates a case against a top competitor if he uses his main keyword on the listing because maybe this competitor grabs his sales so the seller will sue.
