“Hey Everyone! Can you explain the basic difference between a truckload and an LTL shipment? In what situations would it be better to choose one over the other? And how does this choice affect shipping costs and delivery times?”

One shipping trailer is contracted to one shipper, client, or consignee when a truckload (also known as full truckload shipping, or FTL) is involved. FTL cargo usually travels from place A to place B. A mixed trailer known as a less-than-truckload (LTL) is one that has goods from two or more shippers, clients, or consignees.
