PPC is important for sure and going with aggressive bidding at the start will provide you with more data, however, starting with a lower price for your product or applying some sort of discount will give you better results in the beginning, as having more spend and fewer sales can become a bit overwhelming for some sellers, with this you can strike a balance between the two, also try to find out the best time for sales with this aggressive bidding and let it run for 5-10 days, after that filter the best keywords, ASIN (from the Auto campaign), and create new campaigns with those keyword/ASIN, and have the bids adjusted to the sweet spot (you can find this by looking at ACOS if it is higher go with bit lower bid if it is really low then adjust it to have more clicks and impressions).

For beginners, I recommend running the AUTO campaign in which goes with the Close and substitutes match and also goes with the Exact keywords.

If you are beginner then you should go with Auto PPC campaign.
-
Start Auto campaign in the beginning and after some time pick keywords from your auto campaign and target them in manual campaign with three match types in different ad group.
-
Go with up & down bidding strategy for newly launched products as a beginner.
-
Create an Auto campaign and then apply down only bidding strategy that will be good if you want to start PPC as a beginner.
-
To be successful as beginner you need to first launch Auto campaign and Exact Match campaign with Dynamic Bids Up & Down, Try some Agressive bidding in start, once you get some results like clicks and orders and more search terms and keywords then optimize your campaigns by using keywords which are performing well and also choose placements to minimize ad spend

Go for the auto campaign and ASIN targeting as a new seller.

You should start an auto campaign at the beginning and after some time you should target keywords from your auto campaign in a manual campaign with three different match types in different ad groups.
-
As a beginner, you should start with the automatic campaigns so that you will get useful keywords and after 2 to 3 weeks of running that auto campaign, you can run a manual campaign with those extracted keywords.
