Imagine a fellow seller who is new to advertising on Amazon approaches you with a question about how keyword targeting works in auto campaigns. They want to understand the concept and functionality of keyword targeting in auto campaigns. How would you explain the process of keyword targeting and how it functions within auto campaigns on Amazon? Offer examples or scenarios that can help clarify the concept for them.

Dude there is no keyword targeting in auto campaigns but you set the bid rates for match types which are Close Match, Loose Match, substitutes or complements.

Sorry, firstly there is no way to target keywords in auto campaigns only target close, loose, substitute and complementary match type but in auto campaigns you can get keywords then you can use those keywords in manual campaigns.

Keyword targeting in auto campaigns on Amazon works by allowing you to select specific keywords related to your product, which Amazon then uses to automatically generate and target ads to shoppers who search for those keywords.

specifically, you can not put keywords in the auto campaign, Amazon shows your product on keywords with the help of loose and close match.
