I am using the Amazon FBA service plus the local selling feature. A buyer has placed an order who lives within a radius of my retail store and he has chosen a delivery option, who will fulfill this order Amazon or the merchant?

As we know that Amazon’s local selling feature is a way for buyers to purchase the products through Amazon’s store and get it with local home delivery so if a buyer lives near to the retail store then the fastest way will be chosen. If the Amazon warehouse is far from the buyer’s address then the merchant will fulfill the order.

Once the order is placed by the customer, the order will be fulfilled by whoever between Amazon or Merchant can fulfill it faster, they will ship it out to the customer.

The order will be delivered as per the method of delivery the buyer has selected.
If he has selected fba then amazon will deliver the order.

In your case, if the buyer is within a radius of 25 miles from your retail store or warehouse, you are responsible for delivering the order even if you are using Amazon FBA.

Amazon’s local selling feature allows buyers to purchase products and have them delivered directly to their door. The order will be fulfilled by the merchant if the Amazon warehouse is too far away from the buyer’s address. If a buyer lives nearby, the fastest way will be chosen.
