    Is it a violation to create wrong variations of the listing?

      If Amazon didn’t allow you to create a variation for the specific category or ASIN, or if you are trying to make the wrong variation, Amazon will suspend your ASINs for selling, or in severe cases, Amazon will suspend your account as well.

      If you do not have permission from amazon to create a variation for a specific category or ASIN, or if you are attempting to create the incorrect variation Amazon may suspend your ASINs for sale.
