Is it possible to cancel specific items from single order?

I am buying 10 items in single order but now I want to cancel 4 items from that order. Can I do this?

  No, you can not return some units as one order ID is generated against all the units.

  Basically, Amazon generates the order ID for all the units ordered so we can cancel some of items from the single order.
