My account’s Late Shipment Rate (LSR) has exceeded Amazon’s acceptable threshold due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a natural disaster or supply chain disruption. How would I communicate with affected customers and mitigate the impact on my account health?

You can contact your customers and tell them the actual situation due to which your shipments are being late. You can offer them refund or can send additional items as well to compensate the late shipments. However, if their is a natural disaster in an area and shipment services are affected than Amazon will also be aware of the situation so Amazon might give relaxation as well.

To control the LSR, you can communicate with your customers and tell them the actual reason behind it or cancel the orders that you have not shipped yet.

Reach out to customers who have experienced late deliveries and apologize for the delay. Be transparent about the situation and explaining the external circumstances that caused the delay.
