    Guidelines would be to avoid using any copyrighted text, or abusive/prohibited words, just avoid these and you’re good to go, now of course there are limitations to how many characters you can use in the title or bullet point, best practice would be to do good keyword research, and put those into listing builder in Helium10, it will help you determine if your content is good enough by scoring it.

    Key factors should be first and foremost the manufacturing and shipping cost, if you manufacture the product at lower cost while maintaining high quality, and get somewhat discount on the shipment you can increase your profits easily, then either going with competitive prices or lower your can do that, the basics would be you get the product at lower costs.

    FBM & FBA, in FBM you can control your own shipment or packaging costs, you can extra charge and whatnot, though sometimes deliveries can be slow, break, etc. and that will be on you, it is however, quite cost-effective, in FBA Amazon is responsible for the shipment and packing, it is mostly fast and on-time, also during shipment if it was delayed, or arrived late it is all on Amazon, it can have more costs than you pay in FBM but more reliable as well.

    You can ask them to reimburse you for the lost inventory if you have proof (as you mentioned) provide additional proof like your shipment documents, etc. you may or may not get the stock but you can definitely get the reimbursement.

    I would say that 600+ is probably the good one, as when you start sell and you get your first ever IPI it is generally around 400 or more, which then gradually increase or decrease based on your account performance, having 600+ is a better one you stay in the safe zone of not dropping to under 400 (unless you have excess inventory and really poor sales) which can limit your ability selling (limiting your storage capacity), so it is best to stay in the safe zone.

    If you want to make things hassle free (i.e. it is getting for you to manage or look things on their own) then I would certainly recommend linking your account to Helium10, it can also keep track of product stock, competitors, and more, as it is probably the next best thing after Amazon’s own tools, Sellics is also a good one I have experience with it as well, their Perpetua tool (now standalone) is quite good for PPC.

    As far as I have experience with these, taxes such as SST (States Sales Tax, each can have different rates based on the states i.e. California – 7.25%) so what happens is that these are direct (automated by Amazon) customer pays and Amazon charges without your involvement in the case so you need not increase your price for paying the tax, on the other-hand VAT, is a process (everyone involved in the order is obliged to pay VAT) customer pays the VAT to your and you pay it to the state (country) also it is fixed (21% in UK) so if your VAT (needed to pay amount) is £5 you’ll up your price by that Amazon charges it from you, and you charges it from the customer, there is only the way it works and percentage, etc. though they all are a form of taxes.

    Just avoid using any free-of-cost images from unknown sources (you can use from well-known sources/sites), and check for random words that you think can have some sort of trademark, you can check those through Google patent or USPTO (if in the US market otherwise check on the sites for the specific marketplace you want to sell in) for images you can manipulate them enough that they become un-recognizable so ultimately you’ll receive no IP infringements.

    For that purpose, you’ll need to make sure the quality is good by either ordering the sample yourself (which can be expensive) or hiring someone to check the quality for you in China or the country you’re ordering from, best would have some trusted in the manufacturing country, now to properly assess the quality you’ll need them to check certain areas (suppose in Amazon market the product had issue may be with hinges or that the bold comes off, maybe the plastic/material feels cheap) you can focus on these certain areas and make sure that your product don’t have such issue so you can prevail among other sellers.

    (Resolution) the higher the better so your images will be more detailed, and customers can literally feel, the product size in the image should be big enough that even the smallest details are possible to see, make sure that the colors are vibrant and pop so that your images can be more visible/outstanding than others, for the lifestyle don’t edit them either get 3d images or shot images with real-life props so that customer can understand the dimensions and product as if they already have their hands-on it.

    Specifically in the Display campaign, you can go with contextual targeting, so how it exactly works is that you can search for a specific niche/group of people that has the most interest in your product category (this can be due to their searches on Amazon or purchase behavior) you can target your product with context to that so you can maximize your sales.

    So if you want to go with the self-service then you’ll have no extra fees or anything other than the placement cost they will be charging (which can vary for each placement location) however, for the managed service you’ll need to pay Amazon about $50,000.

    You can get the customer’s concerns or problems that they faced either receiving your product or using it in the “Voice of Customer Tab” If they have an issue with you as a seller then they can leave “Feedback” to let you know if your shipping service was bad or you delivered late, etc. Then also they have the option of leaving review for your product.

    Either be prepared in advance so let’s say you currently prepare your inventory for maybe 2 months and when you’re about to go out of stock start to prepare for the second, what you can do is prepare stock for the next 6 months and then shipment them out every month instead of just before stock-outs, another thing you can use is the Amazon warehouse distribution (AWD) service you can send in your inventory beforehand to Amazon distribution centers, and when you’re about to go out of stock Amazon will automatically send in your inventory preventing the event of stock-out.

    It is quite easy, for promotion all you need to do is just go to the advertisement tab and then select one (buy on get on free, social media promo code & percentage off), just follow through the process of selecting a product, and enter the amount you want to discount in percentage or $, for deals you can run the prime exclusive deal easily, just enter the SKU, percentage or dollar, and you’ll need to select the time frame for which you want to make your deal live, for 7 days or lighting deal you cannot run it on your own, Amazon recommend these so you’ll have to wait for that.
